Video - Under the rain in New York, Gauff works hard on her serve
Coco Gauff shook up her team organization this Wednesday by thanking her coaches Matt Daly and Jean-Christophe Faurel.
They have been replaced by Gavin MacMillan, a biomechanics expert who is expected to help the world No. 3 solve the problems she is facing with her serve. He had also worked with Aryna Sabalenka to fix her issue with double faults.
While rain has been falling non-stop since the morning in New York and disrupting the qualifiers, Gauff decided to stay on the practice courts to apply the first advice from her new coach on her serve (see video below).
As a reminder, the American leads the way in double faults this season with a total of 320, with one Grand Slam and the Asian tour still to be played.
