Heat and humidity exhausted me," Sinner reflects on his withdrawal in Shanghai
Jannik Sinner, currently participating in the Six Kings Slam exhibition, has looked back on the Shanghai tournament and the physical challenges he faced there.
He states: "I took two days of rest, then resumed training: I feel good now, both physically and mentally. The conditions last week were very difficult, but now everything is back to normal.
I think it was psychological. I spoke with my team: from that perspective, everything wasn't ideal, but now everything is fine. It was my fault: the heat and humidity exhausted me.
You learn from these things. Cramps happen, and I was part of that. We are ready for the upcoming tournaments: the ATP in Vienna, the Paris Masters 1000, and the ATP Finals in Turin. I hope to finish the year as well as possible.
